Game Recap
The Rebels won a close game with Forest Park. Senior QB Manning Webb scrambled and found Freshman Kobe Bartlett in the end-zone with 5 seconds left on the game clock. A 2-point conversion pass was tipped and came down in the arms of Junior Center Kam Mullican for the final 2 points. After an onsides kick, Sophomore defensive linemen Willie Bennett intercepted a pass to ice the game. The Rebels had 348 yards of total offense on the evening. Senior QB Manning Webb was 22 of 39 for 270 yards and 3 TD’s. Senior receiver Jaylen Taylor had 6 catches for 39 yards. Kyle Bowman had 6 catches for 62 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore Kaje Cron had 2 catches for 59 yards and a touchdown. Freshman Kobe Bartlett had 2 catches for 53 yards and the go ahead touchdown. Senior WR Dalton Bartlett added 3 catches for 44 yards. The Rebels were led in rushing by Junior RB Alex Fodge. He carried the ball 9 times for 41 yards and 2 touchdowns. Taylor and sophomore Aiden Midkiff also had interceptions for the Rebels.
The Rebels will host Boonville next week at 7:00 for the Homecoming game.
