The 8th grade Rebels improved to 5-2 on the year after defeating Daviess Co. The Rebels struggled on the offensive end but were able to stay in control of the game with solid half court defense. The boys shot 43% from the field and struggled to run their sets with consistency. On the defensive side, the Rebels collected 11 steals and 16 deflections.
In the B game, the Rebels led for much of the game until Daviess Co. took the lead late in the 3rd quarter. The teams traded baskets in the 4th quarter until Tristan McDurmon knocked down a baseline jumper with just under 2 seconds left in the game. The boys would go on to win, 29-27. Cage Beatty, Ashton Tindle, and Trey Burden all had 6 points apiece. This was the first B game of the year for the Rebels.
The boys are off until Nov. 30th, when they travel to PAC opponent Tecumseh for a 5:30 start.
