Early Lead For Jasper Seals Fate For South Spencer Rebels Varsity
South Spencer Rebels Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-3 loss to Jasper on Saturday. Jasper scored on a single by Jacob Lents in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Trevor Krapf in the second inning.
South Spencer Rebels Varsity lost despite out-hitting Jasper nine to eight.
Seth Mendel toed the rubber for Jasper. He allowed three hits and two runs over two innings, striking out one and walking zero.
