The Rebels fell at home on Saturday night to conference and sectional rival Forest Park, 58-48. The Rebels played the Rangers close in the 1st qtr. with the score all tied up at 14-14 at the end of the period. However, the Rebels struggled in the 2nd qtr. and were without senior guard Dylan Kelly who was in foul trouble. The Rebels entered the half down 10 pts. and despite a strong 4th qtr. performance they fell to Rangers.
With the loss the Rebels fall to 6-14 overall and 1-6 in PAC play. The Rebels were led in scoring by Jaylen Taylor who had 24 pts. Dylan Kelly added 10 pts. and Manning Webb had 9 pts.
The Rebels will return to action on Friday (Feb. 16th) as they will travel to Huntingburg for their final PAC game of the season at Southridge. The JV will tip at 5:30 p.m. CST and the varsity at 7:00 p.m. CST.
